‘To be or not to be’ still a question to Diego?
It is quite interesting to see how Diego would face FIFA’s recent ban that barred him from attending the draw conducted Friday for World Cup 2010. The football legend had often hit negative headlines quite a lot of times in the past, most recently for abusing media personals after the victory over
Diego who was under stress until the victory over
We have to say – The Argentine genius who was considered as the greatest player the game has ever seen (sorry to De Stafano and Pele) seems to be out of his senses.
Comparing Diego as a player and as a coach is like comparing an ocean with a rift. Diego as a player was amazing. The recent lackluster games and his shuffling of the side, however, gives a feeling that the master lacks a mirror that would have reflect him as a coach. You cannot always make your side clinch victories through inspiration . In the modern version of the game, what you need is an active head over your shoulders. Diego, however, is not ready to accept this fact .To his horror, he also missed out Riquelme by criticizing him publicly in a televised interview that made situation worst.
FIFA alo stressed its point that it will not allow Maradona attend the ceremony even though any media company offer him a media pass. Let us wait and see the rest… Football lovers may not be conscious of his presence in the drae but surely be cared about what his position would contribute to team

Messi adorned with Ballon d'Or 2009

Messi, once known as the predecessor of the football legend Diego Armando Maradona, however, was not in song in the World Cup qualifiers, causing deep concern for the national coach. Argentina’s dream of World Cup will surely depend on the performance of this Barcelona player.

It is the great wall of India that matters
I felt very bad to see Sachin being glorified as the savior of the first test by the media though I am an ardent fan of the maestro. The credit should have been given to someone who always stayed away from the limelight, the Mr Cool-Rahul Dravid, who single-handedly fenced India to escape defeat quite a lot of times
Dravid, the one who saved a reeling India in the first innings with the company of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in an effort to offer Lanka a formidable first innings score to chase is really the one who deserved the applause. Unfortunately, things went otherwise. This note is not to take anything away from the master’s innings, but just to pop up the real catalyst that gave wings to India’s dream of escaping a defeat.
Dravid, who played several innings of this sort, had faced the same destiny of walking off the ramp in the past. Sachin who completed his century only did his part of the job in a dead pitch, and this also remains as a concern for the curators. Why this sort of a pitch was prepared for the test match? Is it for the sake of killing time or to offer net practice for the batsmen to pad in the game that follows? Let us share this cup of tea.

Sachin completes rhythmic twenty years
Depicting little master’s scintillating performances is more than a hard nut to crack, but let me say it loud - none will ever conquer those heights he conquered in any form of the game. With twenty years not out, this little genius is still blessed with the same shots, same timing, elegant pedal sweeps and leg glances.
It is not proper to draw a chart of his scoring statistics here . It may appeal absurd as it is already done by the media around the world within this short period of time. This note is just to invite the attention of some critics who may say – “Sachin may be a genius ….oops he is not a match winner.”
Sachin only failed as a captain but I think it is the ‘Bengal Tiger’ who made a fitting comment on this topic. Ganguly pointed out that Sachin got a new team to lead and got only limited time to groom the team.
But let me say Sachin lacked aggression as a captain and was not manipulative in that role. How one could think of little master teaching things to political but not oriented a panel of selectors.
It is the aesthetic realm to which his batting would take a true cricket lover that makes the maestro the God of Indian cricket. Forget how many matches he lead India to Victory. With having two shots in his armor for the same delivery, Sachin is more than a devil to any top class bowler and among the scared is the once-aggressive bowler Henry Olonga and Shane Warne.
Two exclusive shots with divine signature:
I would like to call to them ‘green shots’ as they flow through the natural swing of his bat with ease and grace. (All conventional shots he plays have a ‘sachinish’ flow when the ball kisses his fatty bat.)
Pedal sweep: a shot coined in master’s shot-language- laboratory with which he often spun the spinner’s brain. Among the sufferers were the world class spinner Shane Warne.
Upper cut : Master developed this shot for the nasty bouncers as an alternative for the hook shots he partially removed from his armor when spondylosis struck his career. He also proved this shot effective for bouncers not in the reach of a hook.
This is not the beginning or an end but only a sparkling milestone. There are more episodes of great cricket to come from the master.

Embers
making me think of those tears.
Disgrace embarks my faithless soul
Once in a blue moon I used to play this role.
Love that infant, Love.
In the tyranny of your sweat, once he embraced love.
His may be a faithless soul, with disgrace his belonging.
For once being loved, pattered, and for what else?
Those eyes are like embers
Those arms once carried rippling sorrows
Here, I pay for the poison I have injected.
Cry dear cry. Laugh dear laugh.
How one dares to strip that soul!
Don’t ever look for a blanket
or vomit the offspring of his thought
floods always devastate!

Nobel Prize lacklusture
What Obama did?. This is really the million dollar question. Initiatives have never taken some one as Noble Laureate since history even if there are some exceptions . Mahathma Gandhi, who worked for peace fell short of winning the title even if he introduced a new way of life based on non violence. What would have been the factors that made Nobel committee reject Mahathma. This can be discussed in another post. There are still tensions there in the international community.
Israel and Palestine has never declared a permanent cease fire. Pakistan is continuing its hide and seek game with India for which the US only serves the role of a referee (though the game has got no referee since its birth). Then, how come the Nobel committee said "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples" helped him win the title.

Why 'The Is' Has Not Imagined It?
Is it that last fag of love or the last touch of lips?
Is it that last drops of poison I have drunk?
Is it that miserable lament– Don’t ask any questions.
What is it that kills me?
Is it that force that stemmed me up?
Is it that remembrance that told me I am insane?
No, it is that fake smile.
Smile should start with eyes.
With eyes so brown, smile fades not, with any worries to trim.
Am 'The Is' with no imagination to spare.
Am the hell .I was the heaven as well.
comment: absurd

A Vernacular India Slows Down In IT Expansion Says WSJ
We have 192 official languages. The significance of local languages, when compared to a unified language is the sole reason for a sluggish Indain IT market Devita wrote.
”You can't blame the multinational software corporations here. The government should build a common operating system with the partnership of India's software giants and create a standard platform. Many states such as Tamil Nadu have made brilliant e-governance programs, but in Tamil. They don't speak Hindi, and it would be tough to export their program even within the states of India.” Devita stated in her WSJ article...

Leading Argentina To Glory A Distant Dream To Diego?
Among other celebrities who loved to be part of controversies, Maradona is not different. If Micheal Jackson lived in the news for leading an anarchic life as well as the king of pop, Diego was pinned up for the first time by the press for issues that includes raising voice against the Pope. Maradona also got the attention of the press for his friendship with Hugo Chavez, and Fidel Castro. All these facts, however, would not help him overcome the the present hurdle that is winning the rest two matches as well as the play off.
Questions raised in the live coverage by The Guardian web site might be the real hurdle that Diego has to think about again and again to jump over. Some questions follows.
1.Should he play the old players like Veron in the next match or should he stick to the new players?
2.Should he re-think on his stand against Juan Roman Riquelme, who played for Barcelona, Villarreal and Bocca Juniors and recently lead Argentina to World Cup quarter-finals?
3.How should Lionel Messi and Sergio Auguero be manged as the spearheads in the Argentine attack?
However, a survey conducted by Carlos Fara and Associates revealed growing anguish among the Argentines over the deafeats as it revealed 67% of them lost faith in Diego as they needed him to be sacked.Only 22% of them stayed in his side with only three games to spare - one, a match at home with Peru, the second against Uruguay and a two-legg playoff against the team securing fourth in the CONCACAF.
Responding to the situation, Diego, however, dropped seven players from the embattled side in an effort to make a new 'Team Argentina', while adding Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain to spice up the forward line up for the first time. Pablo Aimar secured a berth as a midfielder.
The unlucky players who lost thier position are Fernando Gago, Javier Zanetti, Jesus Datolo, Maxiliano Rodriguez, Lisandro Lopez, Pablo Carrizo and Nicolas Burdisso.
According to media reports, the new chemisrty of strickers for the rest of the games is Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain, Diego Milito, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Sergio Aguero, Carloz Tavez. The midfield that has been liquified after Riquelme quit the side now comprises of Javier Mascherano, Jonas Gutierrez, Angel Di Maria, Pablo Aimar, Luis Gonzalez with defenders lining up behind as Pablo Zabaleta, Nicolas Pareja, Fabricio Coloccini, Gabriel Hienze, Emiliano Insua. Sergio Romero, Mariano Andujar are the goal keepers.

Online Class Rooms A Fair Substitute Says US Study
US Department of Education are up with results from a study that said "On average, students in online learning conditions performed better than those receiving face-to-face instruction." The study also indicated that just two years ago, nearly 4 million students were taking at least one course online. That number has since increased yearly by double-digit percentages.
The Department of Education report notes that the ability for students to use their time in a flexible manner boosted online education's popularity," says Dr. Sal Arria, CEO/Co-Founder of ISSA. "According to our students, the flexibility of our online accredited programs is among the top reasons for choosing ISSA for their fitness education."
However, what is important is your view and I expect your comments on this. Do you really want to get your children turn nostalgic over those technically powered class rooms that would provide only voices, commands, and guidelines through simulated codes?
