‘To be or not to be’ still a question to Diego?

It is quite interesting to see how Diego would face FIFA’s recent ban that barred him from attending the draw conducted Friday for World Cup 2010. The football legend had often hit negative headlines quite a lot of times in the past, most recently for abusing media personals after the victory over Peru.

Diego who was under stress until the victory over Peru in the do or die game, opened abuses at media that ultimately forced Fifa to undertake the latest disciplinary action. This is not a new issue either for FIFA or Maradona as they both have had clashes before.

We have to say – The Argentine genius who was considered as the greatest player the game has ever seen (sorry to De Stafano and Pele) seems to be out of his senses.

Comparing Diego as a player and as a coach is like comparing an ocean with a rift. Diego as a player was amazing. The recent lackluster games and his shuffling of the side, however, gives a feeling that the master lacks a mirror that would have reflect him as a coach. You cannot always make your side clinch victories through inspiration . In the modern version of the game, what you need is an active head over your shoulders. Diego, however, is not ready to accept this fact .To his horror, he also missed out Riquelme by criticizing him publicly in a televised interview that made situation worst.

FIFA alo stressed its point that it will not allow Maradona attend the ceremony even though any media company offer him a media pass. Let us wait and see the rest… Football lovers may not be conscious of his presence in the drae but surely be cared about what his position would contribute to team Argentina in the much awaited World Cup. 'Will the God do it again?' is the million dollar question.
